The construction company R.C.M. Costruzioni srl entrusted to the Smart-G the study of most efficiency techniques and technologies to realise the work under the geotechnical point of view. In particular, the Smart-G studied the applicability of the vibrocompation to improve the stiffness and the strength of in place soils. Moreover, a vacuum consolidation system by means vertical drains and impervious upper layer has been proposed and designed by our company to accelerate the consolidation process of dradged soils.

Study of the piping effects of the Ponte Annibale Dam (Italy)

The engineering company S.T.C.V. srl entrusted to the Smart-G the study of the piping effects that affected  the Ponte Annibale Dam. FEM analises have been carried out to define the water flow into the soils upstream, below and downstream the dam. The piping effects have studied in different water level conditions.

Scientific consulting during awarding of contract and final design for the adjustment to workplace safety regulations, as well as rationalization of accessibility of the industrial harbor area of Genova Sestri Ponente (Italy)

The consulting company Technital S.p.A. entrusted to the Smart-G the study of most efficiency techniques and technologies to realise the work under the geotechnical point of view. In particular, the Smart-G studied the applicability of the vibrocompation and jetgrouting to improve the stiffness and the strength of in place soils and dradged ones. Moreover, the amount and the development over time of the settlementes have been predicted.

Scientific consulting during final design for the railway doubling between Termoli - Lesina (Italy)

The engineering company TiZero srl entrusted to the Smart-G the use of most efficient approach to design the pile foundation systems of the bridge columns. This approach permitted to reduce significantly the lenght of the piles and the rebar, optimizing the use of the materials and reducing the environmental pollution.

The engineering company TiZero srl entrusted to the Smart-G the study of tunnel stability during the excavation and in operating conditions. 2d and 3d FEM analises have been carried out to determine the safety level of the infrastructure.
